Marine iguanas in the Galápagos have different colored scales depending on which island they're on, and I'd heard Isla Fernandina had yellow ones. I asked a local surf coach where to find them, then biked toward the volcano and followed his directions to the cliffs. Hours of searching came up empty, but I was able to capture this marine iguana instead. The whole thing felt like I was a kid playing Pokémon again, hunting unique species across the islands, trying to capture them all
